Steps in senior moving process
First, we’ll wrap the smaller and fragile items, like glassware, porcelain, and electronics, in wrapping paper, and bubble wrap, and then we’ll put them in boxes. After that we’ll handle disassembling larger furniture, and unplugging and disconnecting all your appliances.
After we’ve protected the property and ensured everything is securely taped and fastened we’ll load it onto our truck. Upon arrival on the new location, our crew will carefully unload and unpack all your belongings. We’ll put everything back in its original condition and put all the items in appropriate rooms.
If you’re downsizing or have trouble with some items you don’t wish to move at this time, consider using our temporary and long-term storage. It’s included in the full service too!

We offer a 10% discount for seniors. Moving prices vary depending on the type of the move. While local moves are charged by the hour and usually require hiring 2 movers, long-haul relocations have a fixed price. Downsizing means that you’re relocating to a relatively smaller living space. The biggest challenge with downsizing is dealing with all the extra items that you can’t leave behind. Some efficient ways to declutter are a yard sale, donation, internet sales, recycling or simply using our temporary or long-term storage can provide a safe and secure space to store the items you do not want to dispose of permanently.
Do you charge extra to move items up or down the stairs?
No, we don’t. Even if we’re moving you to an apartment on a higher floor, that’s not something you’ll be charged for separately. Everything is included in the full price for your move.
Are you licensed to move seniors across the state lines?
Of course. We hold all the state movers’ licenses and can legally and safely relocate all your belongings out of Texas.
Do you offer same-day senior moves?
Yes, we do. We can help you with residential or special-item same day relocations. However, please keep in mind that these rates are a bit hire than for our regular moves.
How much should I tip for an intrastate senior move?
