Before moving appliances, the moving crew will first safely disconnect your appliances. We will also assist you with unplugging the hoses of your washers and dryers and draining any residual water.
The next step is to secure any loose parts, cords, and hoses, and remove the detachable pieces. We’ll wrap the appliance in protective materials to prevent any external damage. Our crew will use tools like dollies and moving straps to safely remove the item from the residence and load and unload it from our trucks.
Upon arriving at your new residence, we’ll unpack and reinstall your appliance. If you want to put your item in a storage, that option is available as well. You can choose between short and long-term storage.

How much in advance should I disconnect my fridge or a freezer?
It’s recommended to disconnect them around 24 hours before the move. This is enough time for it to defrost completely. Also, don’t forget to take out all the food out of your fridge, and dry it out completely after it’s defrosted fully.
Do you charge extra to de-install and re-install the appliances?
No, we don’t. Installation is included in the price for the appliance move.
How many movers are required for a local appliance move?
For most local appliance moves 2 movers will be enough. However, depending on the urgency, or the complexity of the removal, hiring more movers might be a better choice.
What’s the price of intrastate appliance moves?
We don’t charge our long-distance move by the hour, but instead have a fixed price. Keep in mind that multiple factors can impact the price. First, we need to consider the time it takes as well as the distance of your move. Are you relocating to a nearby town or across Texas?
